Last 05 April 2020, Samdhana launched an appeal to raise funds for emergency relief to the community in Brgy. Cauyunan, Opol, Misamis Oriental. The community, composed mostly of Higaonon families, is part of the Dulangan Unified Ancestral Domain.

Through individual donations, Samdhana was able to raise the amount needed to purchase 10 kilos of rice and 1 kilo of salt each for the families in Cauyunan. On 8th April 2020, the emergency relief goods were distributed to a total of 354 households. The families who received the support included those with single parent or household head, pregnant women, senior citizens members and persons with disability. Especially heartwarming was the gratitude expressed by the families who received the relief. The distribution was coordinated through Datu Romeo Gican, Limbubungan or tribal head of Cauyunan, with Mr. Jeffrey Puasan, IP Mandatory Representative of Dulangan Unified Ancestral Domain. They were actively supported by personnel from the Barangay Local Government Unit, and members of the Dulangan Higaonon Youth, and the Sangguniang Kabataan.
