Adrian Wells
Advisor on Public Policy, Economic Development and Investment

 

Adrian Wells has over 14 years experience in preventing and addressing ‘resource trap.' Economies. His work includes supporting institutional change and low-carbon investment, as well as natural-resource governance, poverty, and decentralisation. During his time living in Indonesia, Adrian advised the United Kingdom's Department for International Development (DFID), the Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO), in addition to Indonesian national and regional government on issues ranging from low-carbon development and sustainable palm oil production (working with both buyers and producers), to working to halt illegal logging and strengthen legal verification systems through the VERIFOR initiative.
