Samdhana provides small grants to fund grassroots initiatives, as well as technical assistance trough facilitation, mentoring and training, to build and strengthen the capacity of community based organizations. These grants focus upon establishing equitable access and control over natural resources.
We fund groups that reach out to and educate people, taking action through direct engagement is raising awareness about environmental degradation or human rights. We make grants for mapping rights, awareness raising, working with local government, and consultations for free and prior informed consent. To achieve this we create and conduct workshops, perform media outreach and produce creative communications.
We provides grants of $ 5000 up to $ 20,000 for activities directly related to the services the Institute offers to partners.
