Samdhana is convening a training/workshop on Multi-disciplinary Landscape Approach on May 25 to June 3, 2010 at the Binahon Agro Forestry Farm in Lantapan, Bukidnon.. This is made possible thru the technical support provided by the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR). Michael Padmanabo and Nining Liswanti from CIFOR shall be the trainors. The field work will be held at Barangay Nabaliwa, Pangantucan, Bukidnon. Kitanglad Integrated NGOs (KIN) is the host organization. Twenty one representatives from eleven organizations are participating in the said training. They are Philippine Eagle Foundation (PEF), Kinaiyahan Foundation, TRICOM, IMPEDE, Kitanglad Integrated NGO (KIN), ELAC,NATRIPAL, Tanggol Kalikasan (TK), Cordillera People’s Alliance (CPA), Green Mindanao (GM) and PARTS.

Samdhana ir organizing a 'Regional Skillshare on Gender and Natural Resources' to be held in Bogor, Indonesia, on April 26-30, 2010. This workshop intends to focus on examining our understanding of gender and in sharing experiences, tools and lessons of what worked/what did not work in the gender mainstreaming efforts of NGOs, particularly in the field of natural resources management or ecosystem protection. Invited participants are partners of IUCN NL-EGP in Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia.

Samdhana is providing a 'Trainors' Training on Climate Change and REDD with On-Site Skillshare on Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Strategies' on March 17-24, 2010. IUCN NL EGP partners, some community representatives and networks will be invited. The venue will be in Quezon City and the field training will be in Imugan, Sta. Fe, Nueva Vizcaya.
Documentation of Best Practices in the Philippines and Indonesia
