Samdhana shall organize the training on "Capacity Building on Advance Financial Management System for IUCN-NL EGP partners in the Philppines.  This will be held on July 2010 in Cagayan de Oro City.  Invited are 30 representatives from 15 EGP partners.

The fund management training may include the topics on taxation affecting NGOs, fundraising from local sources, bidding and others as identified by the EGP partners. 

The specific objectives are:

a.  To understand the general principles in fund management;
b.  To provide information and database on fundraising from local sources;
c.  To learn basix taxation and other related laws affecting  Philippine NGOs;
d.  To look at options related to bidding and other fundraising opportunities
e.  To enhance networking and linkaging
