Retreat Centers

The Prana Dewi Retreat Center is located among rice terraces adjacent to the cool highland forests on the slopes of Batukaru Mountain on the island of Bali. Retreat themes are listed in Samdhana Events. Retreats are organized individually or collectively. Depending on the themes, retreats may be for 3 days to one month at a time, for 1 - 20 people.

Prana Dewi is the feminine spirit for creative energy.
Organic rice and vegetable terraces are bordered by traditionally designed cottages, ponds and running springs, rest and meditation huts and an all purpose hall used for yoga and meetings. All have a view of one of Bali's few cloud forests on Mt Batukaru.

Prana Dewi is located walking distance to the one of Bali's most sacred Bali's Hindu forest temples, Pura Batukaru.

Prana Dewi produces the vegetables and rice it serves its guests. It also serves very special and sumptuous vegetarian dishes for healing and rejuvenation.   

Local farmers and village folks run Prana Dewi. Retreat participants can actively participate and learn from Dehan and Franziska the ways of organic farming, vegetarian cooking, local art and music, and take long walks up Mt Batukaru and its surrounding areas. Franziska organizes and gives special Yoga sessions for those who are interested.

The Bayanga Retreat Center is located in the village of Bayanga 18 kilometers from the city of Cagayan de Oro in Mindanao, the Philippines. Located just 10 minutes from the airport, this center sits  high above the Cagayan River and overlooks the Bukidnon Plateau. It consists of two main buildings the first acting as a guest house and office of the Samdhana Institute while the second and larger building has a meeting and meditation hall, several bedrooms and kitchen overlooking the river below.
